Mort is a mysterious figure. In fact, one might say that he is figuratively mysterious. Or mysteriously figurative. Or John Cleese. He is a very disturbing robotic-looking sort, with a deranged skull motif adorning his armor/suit/body. While his name and appearance cause some to think he is somehow connected to Death (as in the tall, dark reaper-esque fellow), only one thing is really known about Mort, and that is that he only steals monkeys, swivel chairs, and flat tires. Why does he do this? Noone knows. Not even Cap'n Spiffy. But Spiffy does know that stealing is unjust, and therefore has a vendetta against this freakish felon.
